Theatre Club Brings Descendants to the Stage

Theatre Club Brings Descendants to the Stage

This week, our 5th–8th grade Theatre Club put on three performances of Descendants: The Musical—two evening shows for families and one morning performance for 2nd–8th graders. It was a great week, and the show was a lot of fun to watch.

Students worked hard throughout the semester to prepare for the production. From learning music and choreography to memorizing lines and supporting each other backstage, the cast and crew showed real commitment and teamwork. Their effort paid off in confident performances and a strong sense of pride on stage.

We’re grateful to the adults who made this production possible. Thank you to David Koch (director), Jeffie Lou Jackson (choreographer), Mark Anders (musical director and arranger), and Karen Cody (costumes) for guiding students through the process and creating a positive, supportive experience.

Most of all, thank you to our cast and crew of 5th–8th graders. You showed up, tried new things, and put together something you can be proud of.

Theater Club will return in semester two with The Princess Bride, and we’re already looking forward to it.
