Parent Association

Westside School has grown tremendously in the past few years and it would not have happened without the strong support of our parent community. Westside parents are an essential thread in the fabric of the school. We have helped to create a Westside that includes a beautiful learning environment, outstanding teachers, inspiring administrators and truly awesome staff, which all shows most clearly in the creativity, hard work, and achievement of Westside students. It is wonderful to be part of Westside School community and contribute to our school's mission of joyful and confident learning!

Since every parent automatically is a member of the Westside Parents Association (WPA), we encourage you to bring your unique talents, experience and ideas to our school. WPA projects would not be successful without a variety of abilities and gifts. Are you a decorating genius? We need you! Skilled with crunching numbers? We need you too! Amazing social coordinator? You too! (You get the idea!). We truly value any input you want to make or, if you prefer, you simply might come to have some coffee with us and learn about “hot topics” at the school.
The WPA is all about building a welcoming, connected community of parents. Our meetings are every first Friday of the month from 8:30 - 10:00. We hope to see you there!
If you would like to know more about upcoming projects, volunteer opportunities, meetings or events and are a current Westside parent, please go to the link for the WPA in the Parent Portal or contact WPA president Debi Cushman-Kaplan at
