Wonder Lab (K-2)

Get ready to wonder, experiment, build, mix, test, and discover! In Wonder Lab, young scientists explore the world through hands-on investigations and playful challenges. Over 13 weeks, students will investigate chemical reactions, forces and motion, engineering and design, and food science through engaging experiments such as fizzing reactions, balloon rockets, marble runs, bridge building, egg drops, popcorn investigations, and homemade ice cream. Students will make predictions, ask questions, test ideas, observe changes, and redesign their creations. No prior science experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy!

Clay Club (5-8)

Children will be working with clay and encouraged to make their own unique ceramic creations such as cups, vases, and sculptures of all kinds. Each class, the instructor will demonstrate a project for students to hand-build.

Fired ceramic pieces will be ready 4-6 weeks after creation. Pieces created in class are not guaranteed to come out finished; work sometimes breaks in transit or in the kiln despite careful handling. Student work is not guaranteed to be fired before the end of the session and those pieces will be available later for pickup.

Hand Sewing (K-2)

In this camp, young learners will delve into a world of stitching, crafting, and creating with their own two hands. From mastering the basic whip stitch to confidently fastening buttons and adding beautiful embroidery, this class offers a diverse range of techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide students through each step, ensuring they not only learn valuable sewing skills, but also develop fine motor abilities and enhanced finger dexterity. Most importantly, this camp is designed to ignite their imagination and give their creative muscles a fun and invigorating workout!

Join the Chess Club! Learn chess tactics and strategies, solve chess puzzles, and play the game with your friends. Orlov Chess Academy's mission is to share a passion for the game of chess that children can carry through life and build friendships that last a lifetime. Dungeons & Dragons (5-8)

Engage with a world of fantasy, adventure, and team-building in Dungeons and Dragons. Students will create a character, embark on an adventure, and gain role-playing and team-building skills in a collaborative setting. Players of all experience levels welcome.

Bricks4Kidz: Space Adventures (K-2)

Learn about space exploration and build motorized LEGO® Bricks models related to the NASA space program! We will build astronaut training equipment, space robots, rockets, and more. We'll learn about what it's like to be an astronaut in space and talk about the coolest missions to outer space. Let's get ready to launch!

Comic Sketching: Wonder Worlds (K-2)

Sketch new characters into a new world in every class, from castles and candy houses to pirate storms, and storyboard each adventure into a finished comic page! Teachers model real techniques like thumbnails, character design, shot choices, composition, and panel sequencing. Every class ends with a mini-premiere, and families receive an email home with photos of their student’s story.

Code, Build, and Invent with micro:bit (2-4)

Students will become programmers, engineers, and inventors as they use micro:bit computers to bring their ideas to life. Through hands-on challenges, students will learn how coding can control lights, sounds, sensors, motors, and eventually simple robots. Students will design, build, test, and improve creations while learning foundational computer science concepts such as sequencing, loops, conditionals, inputs, outputs, and debugging. No previous coding experience is necessary. Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to experiment are encouraged.

Every Kid Can Cook (K-2)

Every Kid Can Cook is a fun and tasty enrichment where young chefs will mix, measure, chop, and create delicious recipes they can make all by themselves! Students will learn simple kitchen skills while making snacks and meals that are easy to recreate at home and fun to share with family and friends. Each session is packed with hands-on cooking, creativity, and plenty of opportunities to try new foods and flavors. Along the way, kids will build confidence, independence, and teamwork skills in a safe and encouraging environment. By the end of the enrichment, every chef will leave with new recipes, new skills, and the confidence to say, “Every Kid Can Cook!”

STEAM Lab (2-4)

Kong Academy’s STEAM Lab is a hands-on building and design program. Students work on multi-week projects that bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life through making and experimentation. Students build, test, troubleshoot, and improve their creations while practicing teamwork, communication, and collaborative problem-solving. Projects vary and may include Da Vinci bridges, hydraulic systems, optical illusions, working science models, animation, and art.
