Based on developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based learning, the program is structured to provide for the physical, social and emotional needs of Middle School students. Experiential and service-learning opportunities are core elements, including engagement with our local and global communities, as well as the natural world.
Our dynamic preparatory program is designed to prepare students to succeed in competitive area high schools. There is strong emphasis on opportunities for interaction with lower school students to develop leadership and mentoring skills. The day is organized around flexible block scheduling to provide teachers the opportunity to craft the schedule to optimally suit a range of engaging assignments as well as meet the needs of learners.
