Family Friends Day

Always the day before Thanksgiving, each child invites a special friend to visit the school. Friends get to spend time in the classroom and remember what it’s like to be in elementary school.

Winterfest

Our students love to sing and perform, and Winterfest is their first opportunity to shine! Each classroom performs songs for parents, friends and more!

Spring Fling

It’s almost the end of the year, and our students get to sing one more time for their family and friends. Sure to be a hit, Spring Fling also includes ice cream!

Graduation

Graduation isn’t just for the 5th graders, it’s for grades 1-5! Each student gets an award, and a special slide show is presented to say good-bye to the students moving on to middle school.

Family Movie Night

The WPO (Westside Parent Organization) schedules a handful of Family Movie Nights, complete with popcorn and a family friendly movie!

WPO Meetings

The WPO has one - two meetings a year, with speakers that discuss curriculum, classroom projects, and other school issues. These meetings are a great way to meet other parents and to learn what’s going on in the school.

Halloween Fest

Celebrate Halloween in style! Westside’s WPO puts on a Halloween to remember with games, prizes and more!

Family Dance

Get out your fancy shoes, it’s time to dance! The Family Dance is a great community builder, and everyone who comes is sure to have a great time!
