Annual Giving Letter

Dear Westside Community,

We feel very fortunate to have two daughters who love to go to school each day. At Westside they feel safe, challenged and happy. As our daughter says “I feel like I can achieve more at Westside than I would at any other place. I get to learn in so many different ways.”

You probably already know that tuition alone does not cover the cost of our children’s education at Westside. The gap is made up through fundraising, and money raised during our upcoming annual giving campaign will be used for teacher salaries, enrichment classes, facility maintenance, tuition assistance and keeping class sizes small.

Please join us in making a contribution to the campaign. Every gift is important and all contributions are tax-deductible. Our target is 100% participation from our community.

We are grateful to have up to $30,000 pledged by a group of generous Westside families in matching funds that has been offered up to encourage us all to participate in this vital campaign – let’s take full advantage of this potential generosity.

• Every pledge/contribution made on or before the November 14th campaign kick-off will be matched by an additional $100!

• Westside will receive an additional $1,000 match for every classroom that reaches 100% family participation.

• Every new family that joins the Westside sustainers (pledge to give $500 or more per child per year) will have their gift matched at 50%.

If we all make or pledge a gift to the annual giving campaign ON OR BEFORE November 14th, we will have earned well over half of our matching funds.

Just like you, we feel so lucky to be sending our daughters to a school that offers such a great academic and social experience in these early years of their lives. But, please know that Westside will not be able to continue to offer this caliber of education without your financial support.

Giving is easy; just visit the “Give” link on the right hand corner of the Westside website (westsideschool.org). You can also turn in your gift or pledge at the kick-off breakfast on November 14th, or drop it off in the office.
