Financial Assistance
We understand that paying for independent education requires a significant financial commitment from our families. Our Board of Trustees and administrative team make a concerted effort to keep tuition affordable and accessible. Doing so is part of ensuring that Westside School is an inclusive community.
Westside offers need-based tuition assistance to families of students in kindergarten through 8th grade. A portion of every tuition dollar supports our tuition assistance fund, which is further supplemented through fundraising. Please complete and submit all required forms on time. Late filing may result in non-renewal of a tuition assistance award.
Current Families
We do our best to communicate the tuition assistance award at the time re-enrollment contracts are due. If you are a current family applying for tuition assistance for the first time, please let the business office know before re-enrollment contracts are distributed.
Returning families must re-apply for tuition assistance every school year. As both the school’s and a family’s financial status may change from year to year, an award one year does not guarantee the same award the following year. The deadline for returning families to apply is February 28, 2013.
Sudden Financial Hardship. Please reach out to the Business Office if you are experiencing financial hardship. There are limited emergency tuition assistance funds available for qualified families.
New Families
For new families, award determinations are usually communicated along with enrollment invitations. The deadline for new families to apply is February 28, 2013.
