Our admission season runs from early fall through January, and includes weekday tours and Saturday open houses.  We accept applications on a space available basis throughout the year. You have the option of completing your application directly online or in print form (below).   Please contact our Admission Office to learn more.

The Admission Process

 Lower School (pre-kindergarten through fourth grade)

NOTE:  Commencing with the 2013-14 school year Westside School will no longer be offering a Pre-school program for three year olds.  

  • Schedule a tour. Call 206.932.2511 to reserve a space on one of our tour dates.
  • Attend an Open House. Prospective students are welcome as well.
  • Complete the application online.
  • Request transcripts, teacher evaluations and references by the posted deadline. Transcripts, evaluations and references will be sent directly to Westside School.
  • Kindergarten and pre-kindergarten applicants participate in an observation/assessment on a scheduled Saturday morning. Applicants in first through fourth grade will be scheduled for a full day classroom visit, observation, and assessment.

Middle School (fifth through eighth grade)

  • Schedule a tour. Call 206.932.2511 to reserve a space on one of our tour dates.
  • Attend a Saturday Open House or Middle School Information Night. Prospective students are welcome as well.
  • Complete the application online.
  • Request transcripts, teacher evaluations and references by the posted deadline. Transcripts, evaluations and references will be sent directly to Westside School.
  • Register to take the ISEE, the Independent School Entrance Exam by the posted deadline.
  • The Admission Office will schedule a half day visit and observation/assessment for prospective Middle School applicants.
