About Westside School

Westside School is a private, independent elementary school in West Seattle. Accredited by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools, or PNAIS, Westside is a close-knit community that values high-academic standards and challenges students on an individual basis. Class sizes are small, with a student-teacher ratio of 1:10. Children enjoy coming to school, and they learn to cooperate, play together and work together in cooperative groups.

Our parent community is strong. Parents help our school succeed, both financially by supporting our annual giving campaign and auction, and with their time and talents, as they volunteer in the classroom, participate on various committees and are active members in the WPO, or Westside Parent Organization.
