Dessert Auction Volunteers Needed!

The Westside Spirit Auction is right around the corner featuring the ever-popular “Dessert Dash” This annual tradition takes place after dinner at the Westside Spirit Auction. It features a luscious assortment of delectable treats all provided by Westside parents.

Tables are ranked based on the total contributions made on the bid ticket in the dessert auction envelope. The highest bidding table is called first to pick their dessert from the bounteous display. Five seconds later the announcer calls out another table number and the “runner” grabs a dessert from the table, and so on, and so on… until all tables have selected a dessert.

Generosity, a nimble runner and a refined sweet tooth will score your table a mouth-watering and memorable taste experience. This activity is fast-paced, fun, and always a nice money-maker for Westside. And, it can’t happen without you. Please go online and sign up to provide a dessert, or sign-up in the main hall. Your donation can be homemade or from your favorite restaurant or bakery.

Need some inspiration or have other questions?
Check out the info below. It is filled with popular ideas from past dessert auctions. Or feel free to call or email Theresa Schaefer, Dessert Auction Chair, (206) 355-3751. theresa.schaefer@swissarmy.com.
